SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION FOR THE 2020 - 2021 NOW AVAILABLE.
We are offering the following scholarships and grants to children of JSOC members both past and present.
Merit based scholarships; to be paid directly to the college, university, or secondary education establishment.
Scholarships for Family Members of our Wounded Warriors and Injured Service Members, as well as to Gold Star Family Members of our fallen combat enablers and support warriors. The JSOA is partnering with the Patriot Foundation to identify eligible family members within the JSOC enterprise. These college scholarships grants will be paid directly to the college, for a child already enrolled, or deposited to a college savings plan (529 fund), for children not yet of college age.
Current High School Senior / Full-Time Undergraduate College Student
Dependent child of a current JSOA member
Dependent child of Current or Former Military/ Federal Civilian member of the following organizations:
1st JSOAC, HHBN, HQ JSOC, JCOG, JCU, JIATF-NCR, JIB, JMAU, SOADE, SOLSE
Pursuing degree/certification completion as a Full-Time Student at a post-secondary accredited institution
** Requires membership to JSOA

2019 Merit Scholarship Winners
Hannah Stroot was presented the Baldy scholarship by
Lt Gen Howell and CSM Blake. Hannah earned the MSG Derek “Baldy” Baldwin scholarship for her scholastic achievements, extracurricular activities and community service.
